This section contains photographs taken at the various reunions that the members of the 445th attended. The first reunion the webmaster was able to attend was in Dallas, Texas back in 2001. Dick Gelvin and I attended and I had my first opportunity to meet Ray & Jean Lemons. Ray was a waist gunner in the B-24 named "King Kong" when they were shot down on the infamous Kassel mission of 27 Sept 1944. Others I met in Dallas would be Chuck Walker, pilot of "Bunnie" from the 700th Bomb Squadron; Carl Rambo; Fred Dale and many more.
The next reunion I went to was Baltimore, MD in 2002. I took a digital camera with me and got lot of pictures. I had learned that a digital camera or even a camcorder would be a necessary tool. A tape recorder would have been great to record conversations between the vets. Can't get a bunch of these guys together without them fighting the war all over again!
Anyway, lets get to the meat of this section and see some of the pictures.
